Next up was the trace captured on top of the pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan April 22nd 2009, for ScyFy. Hoagland said the trace proved that the torsion field increased at the moment of dawn—07:13 local time. Which was true for all we know. Pity the trace he showed didn't start until 07:19, wasn't it?
Hoagland built up expectations for the two interesting astronomical events of this year: the annular eclipse of May 20th and the Venus transit of June 5th. He wrote about the eclipse on his horrible web site—a treatise that was 99.5% expectations and 0.5% results. He appeared on Coast to Coast AM June 25th and posted to their web site the only firm information we have so far been vouchsafed. This trace was captured from the terrace of a restaurant at Sandia Peak:

As if this presentation wasn't annoying enough, the axes are the reverse of the previous presentations. Time increases with -x, and vibration frequency increases with +y. Nevertheless, it's fairly plain that the major disturbance occurs a few minutes before first contact, and the major off-scale spikes are completely unexplained. HOW OLD is this Accutron watch, again?
How does this compare with the preliminary version he posted to FB on May 22nd? Not well. Since the axes are reversed, I give it to you flipped in the horizontal and vertical axes:

Hoagland has slipped up Big-Time here. One of them is upside down. The preliminary shows the steady part of the trace decreasing by about 0.3Hz. The "final" shows it increasing by the same amount. Look at the notations 'FAST' and 'SLOW' at the top and bottom edges. Ooops.
His text accompanying the prelim capture was sooooooooo typical Hoagland-perbole it makes me giggle:
"Here is a composite "quickie graphic" from our phenomenal Eclipse observations, made Sunday; it shows a preliminary representation of the ASTONISHINGLY CONFIRMATORY torsion field data Enterprise acquired before and at the beginning of the May 20th Annular Solar Eclipse ....
As you can see, even these "quick-look" results are MIND BENDING!"
Appearing with Jay Weidner on Gaiam Inspirations TV, May 16th, Hoagland was confident about his experimental setup, remarking that he had controls in Chicago and Florida. We have heard nothing at all about those controls, unless I missed it. We have heard nothing at all about the results of a similar "experiment," also from the restaurant, during the Venus transit of June 5th. All we have heard is that the Accutron "went nuts for 12 hours straight" during the solstice, June 20th. Since he was in his own garden in Placitas NM at that time, I'd say that very probably falsifies one of his main claims, namely that Sandia Peak—standing in for a pyramid in Hoagland's tiny mind—has an amplifying effect on the torsion wave.

So here's a checklist of what we're still waiting for:
- Reconciliation of the two versions of the 2004 Venus transit
- Extension of the Teotihuacan trace to the moment of dawn
- Anything at all from Stonehenge/Silbury Hill last summer
- Explanation of the off-scale spikes during the annular eclipse
- Revision of the labeling on that trace
- Explanation of the fact that the frequency returns to "normal" before the eclipse is even complete
- Information about the Chicago/Florida controls
- Anything at all from the 2012 Venus transit
- Any baselines

One of Mikey's spiritual strippers just posted this link. Note the Disney logo in the bottom right of the picture.
strahlungsamt,
The logo is there because the image came from a Disney show from the 1950's (Man and the Moon). It was part of a live action sequence about a trip to the Moon. The whole space series (there were 3 episodes) was very cool and is now out on DVD as one of the Disney Treasures series.
As to our waiting for Hoagland to finish his nonsense, I think we all know it will be a long (as in eternity) wait. The original "new" paper was just a come on for his begging campaign. That having failed, there is no reason for Hoagland to continue with the ploy. It won't get him any more interest or money, so what would be the point? Oh sure, he'll pretend to be working on it, but getting his ass off the couch to please the rubes is hardly worth the effort. Nope, the Sun will become a red giant, consume the Earth, then begin to collapse upon itself before Hoagland finishes any of the numerous papers he's promised over the years.
Nice post. Even assuming that the graph from the C2C website shows exactly what he says it does, it still implies a degree of certainty about the Moon's internal structure that doesn't currently exist. "Outer Fluid Core" boundary, indeed. Also, he's made it abundantly clear in the past how much he and Mike like to tinker with the timing in Redshift to make events coincide with a celestial alignment. Forgive me if I find his timing down to the second a bit hard to take at face value.
Chris, the "I'm working on the paper" response nevertheless does provide a useful excuse for avoiding difficult questions. I wrote him myself a week or two ago taking issue with his conception of peer review and archeological dating techniques, and all I got was a "Thanks for the letter, and I'd love to talk archeology, but I've got to finish this stunning paper first" in response. He's only one man, you see.
Hoagland is under pressure to produce something that cannot be immediately shredded by real science. He has spoken of having controls in place and must know that the control data will be rigorously examined along with his other "stunning" stuff. Personally I think he's trying to cover all bases before a release.
From the link posted by Bara's stripper friend:
"According to the NASA Astronaut Neil Armstrong the Aliens have a base on the Moon and told us in no uncertain terms to get off and stay off the Moon."
Well if Neil Armstrong says it, that's good enough for me!
CASE CLOSED!
Wonder if Hoagland will be allowed to narrate the Curiosity landing (the "seven minutes of terror") on C2C. I sure hope not, but you can bet he's lobbying hard.
What landing would that be Expat? Is it the landing under blue skies which NASA will photoshop red, or perhaps the landing which gives "clear evidence" or tetrahedrons and unnatural shapes, or perhaps the landing where nothing happens because the real project has been taken "deep black"...
Not matter what does (or doesn't!) happen, I'm sure Hoagie will have the narrative for most scenarios already written out, ready for his sheeple to lap up as evidence of his 100% accurate predictions (or non-predictions).
Since C2C doesn't really do "news as it happens" (more like "news as it never happened"), my guess is they won't have anyone covering those "minutes of terror" live. They may have someone cover the event before or after (possibly Zimmerman if they want it real, Hoagland if they want to go down the rabbit hole), but not during. But yeah, I'm sure Hoagland is trying to pass himself off as the go to guy on this one, even though C2C has passed him over (in favor of people who actually know what they are talking about) in other situations like this.
Chris,
Dr Zubrin would be a good choice. It would piss Hoagland off for sure. Remember Hoagland squealing like a little bitch when Zubrin refused to allow him to present his "Phobos is a spaceship" paper at a Mars society conference.
In fact that performance by Hoagland was a true insight as to the enormity of his ego. It was actually painful to listen to.
Mike Bara wrote, "I just completed the draft of Ancient Aliens on the Moon today! I'm very excited! It came out at 52,329 words, which will probably shrink a bit in the editing process. Now I have to proof it and get it to the publisher by the end of the week. Woo-hoo!"
SHRINK A BIT IN THE EDITING ?
Bloody hell, has Mikey boy gotten himself a tech ed ?
He's going to be on pseud-psych radio on Saturday night, 11pm - 1am PDT, you can phone in and ask him.

Post updated to compare the preliminary and final eclipse captures.
C2C just posted "upcoming shows." It's Hoagland.
http://www.coasttocoastam.com/shows/upcoming
Another update, pointing out that one of the traces must be upside down. Big mistake there, Hoagland.
Expat,
As to that last update, it's not like he's dealing with real data. On the other hand, if he can't even get it right when he is making it up, describing him as incompetent may be an understatement.
So Richard has a team has he? I wonder who they might be...

Richard C. Hoagland
Biography:
Richard C. Hoagland is a former space science museum curator; a former NASA consultant, and during the historic Apollo Missions to the Moon, was science advisor to Walter Cronkite and CBS News. For over 20 years, Hoagland has been leading an outside scientific team in a critically acclaimed independent analysis of possible intelligently-designed artifacts on Mars. Richard and his team's investigations have been quietly extended to include over 30 years of previously hidden data from NASA, Soviet, and Pentagon missions to the Moon.
Hoagland was on C2C last night explaining to us what the Mars landing really means.
strahlungsamt,
The team consists of Hoagland, the fair lady Robin, and Hoagland's desk lamp. The desk lamp is the main researcher.
Hoagie's "team" is every clueless facebook fapper who accepts 1000% that a few over-layed photos are proof of a 250,000 mile force field around a comet spaceship, or that a christmas card of a dog looking at a fire is proof of a re-incarnated Egyptian god about to usher humanity in a golden age of space magic.
Chris,
I am of the same opinion. I think Hoagland is cooking up data. Sorry. "Stunning confirmatory data." I really do think he is capable of such an atrocious scam. But he knows that there are a bunch of meddling engineers, astronomers and physicists waiting to dismantle his nonsense. So he is being ultra careful and sneaky. Hence the wait.
He managed to screw up the labeling of the "final" trace. Not so ultra-careful.
....and quite apart from everything else that's dodgy with that trace, why would the average frequency drop back to "normal" before the eclipse is even complete?
Expat,
The problems you are pointing to are from the same source: Hoagland is either too lazy or too incompetent to actually pay attention to the details of his own nonsense. Whether it's trying to detect underwater torsion fields (that can't penetrate water), or graphs of the "readings" he's done that don't say what he says they say, you have a guy who has lost the ability to keep it all straight. As someone other than me (I don't remember who) once said "The lie is different at every level, especially Hoagland's."
So long as the die hard fans are still there to champion him as right about everything, it doesn't matter too much about keeping his story(ies) straight...
In another private e-mail skirmish, Hoagland looked ahead to the Next Solar eclipse, due November 13th and visible in the Southern hemisphere (look for another round of begging as he imagines himself and Robin beside the Sydney opera house).
Perhaps by projecting ahead to November, he thinks we won't notice if the Venus transit "paper" goes the way of his promised "papers" on The Gulf Oil spill and the Obama space policy. Not to mention Von Braun's Secret 3, The Bees Needs 2, Moon with a View 7.
Expat. Fair point regarding Hoaglands sloppyness in the past. And of course he presents his rubbish not for us but for the faithful. And as we know they will accept anything the Big Man says.
Hmmm... is it just me, or if you squint your eyes and turn your head 19.5 degrees to the side, does the Sydney Opera House bare an amazing resemblance to one of those tetrahedral pyramids at Cydonia - damn! That's all the evidence I need that "they" know all about torsionomics! How quickly can I donate to you again, Mr Hoagland???
(PS. torsion waves totally spin in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere, right?!)
Wait: what am I saying?!?! Anyone who donated to Captain Enterprise should remember that they get to be a part of REAL GROUNDBREAKING SCIENCE (with or without lots of spaces and quotation marks) - something so few people have ever had the chance to do in human history; they are a part of a great scientific and spiritual awakening at a unique time in history, they get to vote with their wallets, be the change they wish to see in the world - a world where mankind can have Star Trek sciences, where we can break-free from controlled schools of thought, clean the planet, explore the universe and help us all regain the hidden truths that are out there - as is our HD destiny!!... What an amazing opportunity these 33,000 truth-seeking masses have: and all for ONLY ten bucks! That's the important thing here, don't ya think?!...
(er... and by "ten", I mean eighty grand... and by "only" I mean you can't question me about it or ask to see reports n things. Ever.)

Wheels down in Gale Crater, baby! I know Hoagie was spewing schizophrenic delusional bullshit on C2C tonight, but I didn't listen. He doesn't deserve to be a part of this.
Hot damn!
As good ol' Bara would say: "it seems the 'tards are out in full force tonight!!"
http://i50.tinypic.com/293vo90.png
I don't know about you, but I know when I look at time delayed pixelated pictures of not-exactly-high-def video feed from another planet I can instantly tell the EXACT angle to within 0.1 degree accuracy of a setting sun... can't you?!?!??
And from one Dick to another...
NO, I don't see what you see (http://i50.tinypic.com/2udutkn.png) - but then, perhaps i'm one of those mislead NASA employees who has been conditioned so much that my brain can't detect giant pyramids when I see them... but you can checkout his link for yourself if you've never seen an "invisible pyramid" - http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a189/dickielee/curiositypyramid.jpg
I've just had a look on hoaxland's facebook page on this, the day we made history again with an incredible new method of delivering a vehicle to the suraface of another planet. The day that hoaxland will disgrace all that work by riding the coat tails of others' achievements with his paranoid theories on c2c later.
And what did I see on there? Endless posts about crop circles, free energy, anti-gravity, chemtrails and pyramids. It's a cesspit of paranoia and conspiracy rubbish. And hoaxland is the cause of it all.
*slow clap* you must be very proud richard. You're not fit to say the word nasa, let alone have an opinion on them.
C2C airs in the small hours of the morning, Curiosity landed in the small hours of the morning - coincidence???... (or did the head of NASA *purposely* have it land at that time just so Dick could explain everything to the millions and billions tuning in to this warrior-o-truth before those bad guys had chance to airbrush out all the tetrahedrons and zigo-things...)
As I was more interested in real science than bad science fiction, I watched the landing on CNN instead of listening to C2C. Hoagland has nothing of substance (other than laughter perhaps) to add to what is actually going on. I do look forward though, to Expat's review (I hope he listened to it so we don't have to) of Hoagland's commentary from last night.
I will do a short review, once it's up on Z Fire Light. I need to hear Bob Zubrin's hour again. Meanwhile, a Mike Bara piece coming up shortly.
Expat,
I think Zubrin's and Livingston's segments would be the more interesting to discuss. Outside of the usual unintentional humor that Hoagland is capable of, his opinions on such things are well known and easily dismissed.
Hey,
Does Hoagland have kids? or is he as impotent as his brain?
Is mike bara banging Robin cuz from this pic
Mike Robin cuckhold
Anonymous, we don't need to resort to those kinds of comments. Leave the cheap shots to Bara.
