Nothing happened.

That pretty much sums up Hoagland's week, month, and career.

He can't be making much money off his videos either since I just typed "Hoagland" into youtube and here's what I got.

That's very true, practically everything he sells on DVD has turned up on youtube at some point.

He has protested loudly about copyvio but in so doing he's throwing stones from a glass house.

Expat,
Ain't that the truth! He used Dr. Wood's work in a paid presentation in Amsterdam without so much as a "by your leave", he's used other people's art work in his papers and DVD's, and he just tried to use someone's Borg Sphere graphic as an "artist's rendering" (he still hasn't taken that one off his FB page) of YU55. Yes, Hoagland's view of copyright is a bit flexible.

I just posted a bunch of hoagland rants about giving stuff away for free and it disappeared?

Are you guys in cahoots with the Elenins?

Chris Lopes said...

strahlungsamt,

Try again. I'd be interested in discussing the matter with you. BTW, is this about Hoagland bragging he's giving stuff awayfor free, or him complaining about others complaining about what he charges for some of that crap?

expat said...

I didn't delete anything.

strahlungsamt said...

OK. Posted it again. If it disappears, it's Hoagland's comments from this page:
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150859357690089

The guy would be pure comedy gold if he wasn't so pathetic. I can hear the ravings of a hungover, desperate man who's dug himself into a hole and clearly running out of cash to buy food.

Hoagland's biggest problem is that he's just soooooo freakin boring. At least the Moon Hoax has an exciting premise to it, conspiracy and the govt lying etc. But Hoaglandia is boring boring boring. You'd think in 40 years he could come up with a decent story at least.

It disappeard again. Maybe I posted too much text and blogger didn't like it. :(

strahlungsamt, it's not clear from your comments where you're posting. Is it here on Expat's blog, or on Hoagland's page?

Chris Lopes said...

strahlungsamt,
I'm not sure where you are posting either, but I did follow the link you posted. It was classic Hoagland alright, with his "do you work for free?" mentality. Apparently he feels that his "research" is so valuable, that the masses should be shoving their credit cards in his face to see this oh so wondrous (and incredibly tedious) presentation.

You should try to find the thread where he tells an unemployed single dad (living with relatives) that he should skip a meal so he can afford the video. He just didn't insist the guy could (if he really tried) find the money for this piece of worthless crap, he humiliated the man by forcing him to explain his personal situation (which was NONE of this idiot's business) as to why he couldn't. Hoagland had all the subtlety of a Scientologist trying to sell blocks of "auditing" to a new recruit. A truly disgusting display that the faithful completely missed.

Expat,
It looks like you can add "the ISS will be abandoned" to your (ever growing) list of Hoagland failures. The Russians successfully launched a manned Soyuz headed for that very place. Obviously the Russians are part of a vast conspiracy (that includes most of humanity it seems) dedicated to making Hoagland look like a complete idiot. Either that, or he really has no idea what he's talking about.

But..... but....... but....... "something wonderful IS coming - I promise!"...

Chris Lopes said...

Anon,
But something wonderful DID happen, Hoagland got to pay his electric bill this month. :)

1:11 and 11:11 equally cancelled each other out, obviously.

he will keep on going with making predictions hoping that maybe....someday...somewhere...

I think the man is living in a glass house...you know.. the one the astronauts saw on the moon :-)

come to think of it...that is still a theme that can be added to the list of flaws...his and MB's political correct so called scientific vision on the moonlandings. the answer to the question why the astronauts of the Apollo 11 mission went transparant is still open...

greetings

How do you mean, "went transparent"? Have you counted how many books the Apollo 11 crew have written between them?

How about TV appearances, publicity stunts (like Buzz Aldrin dancing with the stars)?

Anonymous said...

if one looks at the footage of the Apollo 11 mission the astronauts busy Buzz and Neil are sometimes transparant during their thing on the moon... i.e. one can see the background through these guys...
Maybe due to the incredible high radiationlevels outside the van Allen belt :-)

and since we are on the topic...what about the moving shadows under and around the LM when Neil is on the ladder...

I asked MB these questions some time ago now and all he could doodle was "...how can you tell from the fuzzy and poor quality material..." or somthing to that effect.

Strange response in my opinion because he and RCH see all kinds of stuff like glass houses and or domes...structures etc etc. Apparently the material is all of a sudden pristine and cristalclear when it comes to their merchandise :-)

A THREE DAY trip to the Moon, to be repeated 20 years from now in god-knows how long. Why they don't have the original tapes etc etc I'm being ignored I'll shut up now ...

expat said...

Oh, that kind of transparent. An artifact of the low bandwidth available for TV.

Anonymous said...

you see...there's the difference...a straight answer right away..not enough lines creating the effect of ghost's and transparency...that was to darn difficult for MB as well as the moving shadows :-)

The ONLY reason "nothing" (which Hoagland obviously has a different definition of) happened on 11/11/11 was because.........

It wasn't time - YET!!...

http://i40.tinypic.com/6zrcj9.png

So much for "I don't make predictions, well I kinda do, but I don't say when, except that it's soon".

This "scientist" is delusional. Whenever something "should happen" but doesn't we have him banging on about this "4D chess game" you have to think about - forget the FACTS since 2008, see "the bigger picture" where President Barry really does have everyone's best interests at heart and is on a secret mission to liberate humanity, but has to fool everyone first...

Oh and don't even attempt to try to question Hoagland on this - it is proven beyond doubt Barry is here to tell the truth about aliens, put an end to human enslavement at the hands of corporate greed, give us all free energy, and raise human consciousness to a new higher dimension where we'll all love each other and everything will be perfect for ever and ever and ever...

But just in case you want PROOF of this, isn't the President from Hawaii at 19.5 degrees, and didn't he have a Mayan blessing after getting [s]elected (proves he "knows something"), and didn't he look at an Egyptian obelisk during the "semi-secret" second time he took oath (he could be Horus reincarnated!), and wasn't the President black in the movie Deep Impact which we all know was strategically made fear porn because Elenin was coming to change the world.........

*SIGH*

I miss the old Hoagland days, when he'd stick to just discussing science. (Well, I say "science"......)

Chris Lopes said...

Anon,
MB couldn't answer you because he didn't know the answer and wasn't up to finding out. It really isbeyond him.

I agree with you about the old Hoagland. He was interesting to listen to, and always managed to generate a sense of wonder when he talked (his writing was just plain awful though). The guy he's become is too boring for words.
