Richard Hoagland, the former museum curator who hasn't had a job since 1972, appears to be (metaphorically) frothing at the mouth over the way Hurricane Dorian pummeled the Bahamas this month. Promoting his blogtalk show The Other Side of Midnight yesterday, he wrote:
« Dorian was -- beyond any reasonable doubt, now -- a "controlled weather, genocide event."Well, look. Yes, it was a catastrophe by any measure, and I hope richer nations (you know who you are) will step up with some dollar help. But "just looking at the horrifying images" and "the bizarre track of [the hurricane]" does not constitute overwhelming evidence of attempted genocide.
The evidence is overwhelming; just look at the horrifying ground images of the Bahamas ... and the bizarre track of Hurricane Dorian itself--
A Category 5 ... sitting -- MOTIONLESS -- over ONE tiny Atlantic island ... for over two full DAYS!
UNPRECEDENTED -- according to the National Weather Service -- in all the annals of over a century of meteorological science!
Join me -- and my guest "geo-engineering analyst," Dane Wigington -- as we continue to explore, and document-- with striking NASA evidence (!) -- the vicious genocidal agenda being played out right before our eyes ... to kill a LOT of human beings ... if not planet Earth itself! »
My learned friend Mr. Google tells me that the death toll is currently 43. The normal deathrate is 7.2/1000, in a total population of 403,337. So 16 deaths are to be expected in any two-day period. To call a death toll only two-and-a-half times the expected norm "vicious genocide" marks this man Hoagland as an alarmist nincompoop with no flair for statistics.
Moreover, the meaning of the word genocide is the deliberate extinction of a race or sub-race. Bahamas is racially 92% African, but are all the deaths African? I don't know the answer to that and I bet Richard Hoagland doesn't either. There would certainly have been a lot of visitors on the islands in early September. And then, there are about one and a half billion people with African ethnicity in the world. The race isn't even going to notice 43 fewer members.
As for an "agenda to kill planet Earth itself", LMFAO. Richard, go to your room.

So James, you seem not to be able to produce any evidence that attempted genocide can, in absolute sense, NOT be happening here.... :-)
Weather control theory is such a golden oldy! Although the idea "to kill a LOT of human beings" for some divine reason is as old as, well, the story of Noah's ark. But to kill "planet Earth" seems a bit more mystifying. Would that not be like killing off good real estate for no reason? Or would there a program to restart the planet from scratch? Cue the hyper-dimensional mice....(a Douglas Adams scifi reference for those wondering).
And following the worries on climate change and atmospheric warming through CO2 excesses, wouldn't these planet killing entities not just have to just wait one or two centuries longer? The Nine Gods know they've been waiting since ancient Egypt to do what they did with ancient Mars. Or something to that extent. A good story might be in this after all!
Weather weapons might be a test to see how much the US will tolerate before launching a genuine first strike, just as North Korea and Iran escalating are proxies of Russia and China. Crime against American tourists has recently become quite serious in the Bahamas. Perhaps the US did this as a demonstration. In which case, let the victims move to Cuba.
I believe, in Hoagies case....the key phrase in his of the braincell rant is "step up with some dollar help" :-)
What ever happened to him? He used to be able to be coherent :-)

"....following the worries on climate change and atmospheric warming through CO2 excesses"
The climate has always changed during the oh say 4 billion years and during this vast span of time there have always been CO2 excesses. Funny thing is..nobody did anything about it, nobody worried about it, or nobody was around to worry about it and it turned out...well... we are here aren't we :-) But...being greedy bastards as some people of the elevated status are...swing a pr campagne and one can make money on anything. To speak in the words of Hoagie :-) my old friend Bernays would be in full agreement LOL
Adrian
Anonymous, "we" haven't been around for 4 billion years. In that time many, many species became extinct from a number of causes, including climate change.
Any money being made by climate change authors is as nothing compared to the profits of firms such as Exxon, who had internal reports confirming man-made global warming 30 years ago and continued to deny it in public.

Wauw...really? Are you having a laugh? Playing silly buggers?
"... "we" haven't been around for 4 billion years..."
Maybe you should read my argument again because I never stated that...in fact I wrote 'Funny thing is..nobody did anything about it, nobody worried about it, or nobody was around to worry about it and it turned out...' Maybe I should accentuate it for you...
'or nobody was around to worry about.....well... we are here aren't we'.
Point in scientific case being with a question for you...explain the Roman period, the Mediaeval warm period followed by the little ice age that lasted into the 19th century. Naturally followed by a warming period thereafter. And for the cherry on the coming icing LOL, educate yourself on the scientific fact that elevated levels of CO2 follow elevated levels in temperature NOT the other way around [as in the basic premise for climate change pr campaign]. And please don't come around the corner with feedback loop crap....yes everyone who knows about the intricacies of thermodynamics and electronics is aware of feedback systems. So if you must....include ALL parameters please and not just a dusty temperature dataset from a hundred years ago compared to some recent ones.
Convince us and you wil get a mega mea culpa from me.
Good luck

@David Evans
And just for fun...yes my name is Adrian and I post within the section anonymous, nothing fancy about it.
You on the other hand suggest not being anonymous with a reference to a blog....
Funny thing is...well a click on your name says it all does it not.
Adrian
So tell us Mr Anonymous, what qualifications, or relevant experience do you have in the field of meteorology, that would make us believe what you propose over the findings of professionals in the field.
MSc in Google usage, PhD in fallacious assumption.
Oh but I was forgetting... the study of the weather of our planet is such a simple subject, ripe for any amateur to come in an overturn the research of the many thousands who've studied it their entire working lives.
Adrian "The climate has always changed during the oh say 4 billion year"
Although I'm the last one to argue future scenarios derived from advanced modelling, especially on a blog on hyper-dimensional grandstanding, we're talking here about the idea of too much change in too short of a time (the century scale) potentially affecting a densely populated, interconnected human infrastructure of social-economical life.
The fact nobody ever is going to dispute is the massive systematic global changes in land-use humans have initiated. The lower parts of the atmosphere will for sure react on all of that and we can discuss the degree of all that. This is not even discussing climate change theory yet, it's just laying the foundation of thinking on the many century scale changes and impacts on the here and now for a few popular species.
Dee: "we're talking here about the idea of too much change in too short of a time (the century scale) potentially affecting a densely populated, interconnected human infrastructure of social-economical life."
Exactly! It's the RATE of change, not the FACT that climate is always changing, which is the inconvenient little fact the deniers ignore. Of course the climate has always changed. Nobody's denying that. What's ringing alarm bells now, is the SPEED, observable over only a few years, of this change.
The largest population centers are located along coastlines. Weather has been getting warmer along coastlines, while getting colder, inland, the closer the location is to a Polar region. This trend occurs every 13,000 years, in the signs of Leo and Aquarius, due to the greater distance from the Sun along the elliptical path of Precession. Greenhouse gasses also increase during these cyclical periods, due to increased undersea volcanic eruptions over loading the oceans with gas which escapes into the atmosphere. Man definitely pollutes the environment, but the relative contribution to increase greenhouse gasses is relatively insignificant. How did the cave man ever survive Ice Ages?
It took millions of years to lock down the Earth's terrestrial carbon store. We have spewed it back out again in less than 2 centuries. Anyone who claims this can't have an effect is deluded. Earth will get along just fine without us, but there's no need to accelerate that eventuality.
Dr James DeLulze has a patent for A/C Nuclear Fusion. In addition to that, he also has more than a few, un-patented inventions, one of which would eliminate greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere. The main drawback to that, is that he has yet to build the $500K prototype for the DeLuze Nuclear Fusion Reactor, and the international treaty which forbids dumping pollution into Outerspace.
Probably just as well. According to the author of an article published in Nature Magazine, the current greenhouse gasses are insulating Earth, or we'd be in an Ice Age, now.
@ the monkey
I believe you are the one who is [has been] deluded. The massive and ongoing scientific studies on ice-cores to name just one example proof the extend of your delusion really. There is absolute no objective basis that your stated acceleration occurs. Your "Anyone who claims this can't have an effect..." is well...a claim, an opinion and an assumption. And as the saying goes...Assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups.
@The
excellent addition to be frank.
The real problem actually is when it comes to discussing the so called climate [crap]change, people who have been caught up in this scam always start to sidetrack the issues with non issues to keep up the faith. Never, as in this case, do they actually answer or react to the question and there is a very good reason that this happens....because it makes one realize one has been had.
So....just for the sake of this argument by keeping it to a few examples
explain the Roman warm period, the Mediaeval warm period followed by the little ice age that lasted into the 19th century. Naturally followed by a warming period thereafter. Without, especially for the Monkey, any form of human caused or based acceleration taking place of "spewing" out of the " terrestrial carbon store.
And for the cherry on the coming icing LOL, educate yourself on the scientific fact that elevated levels of CO2 follow elevated levels in temperature NOT the other way around [as in the basic premise for climate change pr campaign]. This falsification of basic scientific facts does not make it right by sidelining this with "well..yes, but it is actually the feedback loop blabla"
And please don't come around the corner with feedback loop crap anyway ....yes everyone who knows anything about the intricacies of thermodynamics and electronics is aware of feedback systems. So if you must....then include ALL, yes ALL parameters that have an influence on climate and not just a dusty temperature dataset from a hundred years ago compared to some recent ones. A warning up front LOL the list of parameters fills an extensive bookshelf on its own :-)
Then and only then is there an actual objective discussion to be made on climate
Adrian
This is purely projection from anecdotal observation, but similar to how in San Francisco it gets windy and cooler at dusk then warms back up after Sundown, as Earth approaches the apex of the Cycle Of Precession, might there tend to be fluctuations in temperature and weather, foreshadowing the pending ice age? Not that an ice age always occurs every thirteen-thousand years; Milankovitch Factors must coincide, but considering the increased volcanism and greater distance from the Sun, that might well have a significant effect in any event.
@ THE
Indeed...these are but a few of the massive amount of parameters that SHOULD be included if anyone even pretends to use a so called advanced computer model that again pretends to 'accurately' predicts climate climate change. Only then one might get a shimmer or a glance of how deep and simple the whole "panic mode - temperatures are on the rise because CO2 levels rise falsification" really is.
Adrian
Utterly daft speculations from Theadora/Orbs/The junked
Look, there's no need for a tax on First World countries to subsidize coal burning in China and India. That won't lessen demand for energy, and it certainly won't lower pollution. That's what this nonsense is really about. I may not have much of a hypothesis to explain recent weather fluctuations as due to pending ice age, but the testable theory will be to wait and see. Perhaps if we had technology based upon Hyper-dimensional Physics, then maybe we would be able to, stop undersea volcanism. Where're 'ya gonn'a go, anyway?
Excellent post as usual from The Concannon. It is getting harder to read and reply to this excellent blog becsuse you know who and you know why are ticked off about the troubles in you know where. Apologies for the cryptic nature of this message, but you know why
The above comment may be too cryptic for those not "in the know". Note that Dr. Eunson is in the People's Republic of China.
