The tragic assassination of President Obama earlier today, while laying a wreath at Ground Zero, was good news for one person. That person would be self-taught "scientist" and entertainer Richard Hoagland, who brilliantly predicted this exact event yesterday on his Facebook page. Hoagland has a history of using tragic events to draw attention to himself, as when he posted on a web site that the Apollo 1 fire was a deliberate act.
Although his record of success in prediction is close to zero, he appears to have aced this one. He could not be reached for comment as he was too busy basking in the admiration of his many fans.
Georgina Poor, host of the overnight radio show These Books Are Trash, was woken to hear the news. She said "Never bet against Hoagland. I know many people see him as an uneducated and self-advertising buffoon, but I always knew he'd get one right eventually." The distinguished physicist Michel Papu said "Personally I always thought Hoagland was an insane cretin. Not so much an idiot savant as an idiot ignorant. I guess now I'll have to look again at some of his ridiculous theories."
So, as a nation mourns, the 16,000 adherents of a Facebook page can click on that icon that says "I LIKE IT!!!"

Well you had to know there was SOMETHING diabolical in Bush not joining Obama in NY. I mean it couldn't possibly have been that Bush understood this was Obama's moment and not his. You know, just because Obama was the one who gave the order (and took the political risks of it going bad) doesn't mean he'd earned the right to bring closure to that city by himself. Oh no, there had to be some deep dark dangerous plan afoot to lure our president into a devious trap.
That's the problem with living in Hoagland's world. EVERYTHING has to be part of the vast conspiracy, because the faithful need constant affirmation that they are in the know. Just because this particular line of the conspiracy doesn't pan out (nor have any of the others he has presented, as has been pointed out), is no reason not to believe that conspiracy exists. If it didn't exist, Hoagland would have nothing.
I had a short exchange with Mr Hoagland about his prediction of some event on New Madrid fault May 16 to 20. I got the impression from his posts that he was intoxicated. I missed his assassination post. I suggested to him he might not post while in such a state but he started deleting me.

When I read you saying something around Dr.Wood , this documentary (where she´s mentioned ) came to my mind, and how often the coarsened and popularizing conspiranoia “ Hoagland style” is blend with legitimate scientific questions about an objective fact, the collapse of the twin towers in this case. This documentary is full of New Age - techno-emphatic music, and categorical and pretentious transcendent phrases and even risky assumptions, as usual in this type of video pieces, though, and here is where it gets interesting ,the nature of the structure of the steel towers (both inside and outside), the heat necessary to melt them, and the speed of free fall from high-rise buildings, we say, the scientist parameters facts that surround them apparently make unfeasible the official & the media versions of S-11.Scientific facts are very stubborn
. Scientific Thinking has had fights along the human history with real power, even have made it burned at the stake. But However it moves. We should not stifle dissident thought . There are Facts , not conspiranoia. The conclussions or analysis further speculations may be debatable, but the facts do not.
