How did that even happen??!

The Apollo shitbags were notorious. If they weren't stuck on precisely right, leakage was inevitable.

Jim Lovell tells James Burke all about it.

Crappy old unproven anecdote... Is there a video? Ok, movie.

More to the point, anyone heard ANYTHING about how Chang'e is doing? Is it as dead as the apparent, deathly silence? Or has it been abducted by aliens?

It's not hard to find info on Chang'e 4, but it's not exactly thrilling stuff. Moon? Been there, done that.

The ISS leaked 9.5 liters of fluid during work to install the Universal Waste Management System(UWMS)just this February. Ablutions in space are still non-trivial.

Two Percent: CNSA has announced Yutu 2 has reached its designed lifespan having moved 163m since landing. This is likely because of the earlier failure of Yutu 1 (it got stuck on the second lunar day of operations but otherwise remained operational for 31 months).

The speculation is this will now allow the mission controllers more latitude in exploration operations.

Expat "Moon? Been there, done that."

Well, not for people who believe that the last three national space agencies covered up something big on the Moon and the fourth one might not, this time around! Leave it to the Chinese to have the most open and transparent program...

And thanks for the humorous blog post! :-)

Yer welcome, Dee. I'm sorry March has proved to be a bit of a drought blog-wise. I have been a bit heads-down on a computer program, and I'm waiting for Kerry Cassidy's report on the tenth interview with her favorite jailbird "Captain" Mark Richards.
