He replied:

"It was after dark at Cydonia, you fucking shitheap of an idiot"

...which, by the way, is not true.expathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10369924104634464934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051630750074978974.post-12864177663713080632013-11-05T07:57:07.050-08:002013-11-05T07:57:07.050-08:00"is that father perhaps Donald E. I'm somewhat miffed by Terry James capitulating to Mike, having posted here "Hoagland and Bara are thieves and liars," but wtf, his decision. SOMEBODY faked in that ziggy, I'm very sure of that -- but at this point I wouldn't accuse anyone specifically. I'm quite sure Frank Gault would never release the photoprint for inspection, if he even still has it.expathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10369924104634464934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051630750074978974.post-1324142938354483782013-11-05T04:09:19.057-08:002013-11-05T04:09:19.057-08:00Good stuff.

I noticed the claim that atrist Frank Gault’s father "was ex-NASA, and gave his son a large collection of Apollo-era 10x8 photo-prints, perhaps similar to Ken Johnston's collection".

Something to take on faith I suppose but is that father perhaps Donald E. Gault the planetologist who used to work at Ames Research Center? He certainly would have Moon prints in any collection left to his son considering his field of interest.

But authenticity needs a chain of reference and for some reason this is not given here, as usual with image processing Hoagland/Bara style. And somewhere was mentioned Frank turned sceptic later. The scans might have very well originated from him but any digital file cannot be called "original". What if someone just had overwritten it? Did nobody thought of actually securing that hard copy being it the only evidence of interest?

D.Deehttp://www.nasa.gov/centers/ames/images/content/118397main_A33996.jpgnoreply@blogger.com
